My stay at The Swan Hotel was delightful. The rooms were beautifully decorated, still maintaining their period charm. My room at the front had a picturesque view of the church and windmill, and the lovely fresh, clean white sheets added to the comfort. The service was top-notch, with staff who were lovely, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The location was excellent, perfect for exploring the charming town of Thaxted and its surroundings. The dining experience left a bit to be desired, but the overall value for money was good.
